Advanced Factory

Overview

The advanced factory is used to convert crates into vehicles. Each factory type represents a production year, starting from 1940.

Each vehicle has a list of components that require cargo to be delivered. Organise your logistics so you can work on multiple components at the same time.

Advanced factories can only be placed by staff, and each town can only have 1 advanced factory.

Process of crafting a vehicle

Click the vehicle you wish to craft to see the components required.

Each component requires a number of crates, which can be produced using the workbench factory.

To transport cargo, load it onto a vehicle:

  • Trains can hold 10 crates.
  • Trucks can hold 3 crates.

Enter the workbench factory's chunk and enter the vehicle to load the cargo. Drive to the advanced factory, then exit the vehicle while inside its chunk to deposit the cargo.

Open the component you want to build and click it to consume the required cargo.

Once all crates for a component have been deposited, it will begin crafting. Multiple components can be crafted at the same time to reduce the total time needed to finish the vehicle.
